Bio

Grace Martin grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska and received her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Music and Russian from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, followed by her Masters of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Performance at the University of Idaho under the guidance of Dr. Eneida Larti. In the last decade Grace has worked in student and professional musical theater, collaborated with other music students, performed in Jazz ensembles and solo settings, given two large recitals and a pedagogical lecture, performed for local restaurants and hotels, and begun her journey as a song writer and composer. As a performer, Grace offers not only Classical expertise, but also her artistry in Jazz and other improvisatory styles. Grace is thrilled to share her pedagogical knowledge through piano lessons to residents of the tri-lakes area in the beautiful Adirondack state park region of New York. When not involved with music, Grace is an avid outdoors woman, and enjoys rock and ice climbing, swimming, biking and anything that gets her out into the beauty of nature.
